Portable MRI brings brain imaging to the patient bedside

New portable MRI device can be safely used at bedside in complex clinical care settings to evaluate critically-ill patients. Single-center prospective study evaluated feasibility of bedside MR neuroimaging in the intensive care settings for 50 critically-ill patients with COVID-19, stroke, hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury and tumors.
