(MedPage Today) — WASHINGTON — Viltolarsen (Viltepso) injection has been approved to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in patients with a confirmed mutation in the DMD gene amenable to exon 53 skipping, the FDA said Wednesday.
