AGA announces awardees to receive research funding

The American Gastroenterological Association announced the 17 researchers who will receive funding through the AGA Research Foundation Awards program, according to a press release.
The 2020 awards will offer $2.2 million in research funding to support investigators’ work that will enhance the understanding of gastrointestinal and liver conditions and lead to better treatment options for patients with these conditions.
“This year’s selected awardees are committed to transforming the gastroenterology field with their research projects that span the entire digestive tract,”
