MAUI, Hawaii — In this exclusive video from GUILD Conference 2020, Miguel Regueiro, MD, discusses his presentation on the management of intra-abdominal abscesses in patients with Crohn’s disease.
“This is a very common problem that we as gastroenterologists face in our practices and are often challenged to wonder whether we use medication therapy or whether these patients need surgery,” Regueiro said. “This is a multidisciplinary approach where we need to work with our radiologists to drain the abscess but also our surgeons to decide on surgery.”
