Tips For Tackling Teen Tooth Troubles

Tips For Tackling Teen Tooth Troubles.

Having a hard time convincing your teenager to take their dental to-dos seriously?

Here are three things to keep in mind, starting with what issues to look out for.

1. Poor Nutrition

Sticking to a well-balanced, healthy diet probably doesn’t top most teens’ priority lists. However, what they put on their plate absolutely makes on impact on the state of their oral health. Urge the teens in your life to eat plenty of fruits and veggies and to, of course, limit their consumption of sugary drinks, like soda.

2. Sporadic Brushing

Consistency is key! Do what you can to encourage teens to floss and brush their teethand properly!—for two minutes, twice a day, without fail.

3. Ill-Informed Product Purchases

Social media influencers are front and center online these days and a fair few are padding their bank accounts by “promoting” questionable products. Talk to your children about sticking to oral care picks that have earned the American Dental Association Seal of Acceptance.

We sincerely hope this helps you!
