What is the Best Filler for Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

There are many types of dermal fillers to choose from now days, but not every dermal filler is appropriate for each location. The two most common dermal filler families are Juvederm and Restylane.

The types of Juvederm products are Juvederm XC, Juvederm Ultra XC, Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Volbella, and Juvederm Vollure XC. The types of Restylane products are Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne, and Restylane L. Each product is preferred for different areas of the face and not all dermal fillers are created equally.

Dr. Leong prefers Restylane Lyft (formerly known as Perlane) for his Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty. He feels Restylane Lyft tends to maintain its shape better than other hyaluronic acid based fillers that are available. Juvederm products have the tendency to expand after the injection, and while that may be beneficial for areas on the face such as the cheeks or lips, it is not ideal for the nose.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is a great option for our patients who are scared to go under the knife or simply for patients that are considering a rhinoplasty but what to see what the results might look like before they undergo surgery.

Schedule your appointment with Dr. Leong today to see if you are a good candidate for Non-Surgical rhinoplasty! If an Asian rhinoplasty surgery is something you’re considering, Dr. Leong is happy to discuss that with you as well. See which Pittsburgh location is near you!
