Pharmacists Now Can Skin Test to Tease Out True Allergies

Seattle—A pharmacist-administered penicillin allergy assessment and skin testing protocol has confirmed, at least in a small pilot study, what many clinicians often suspect: that patients who claim to be allergic to penicillin often do not have a true allergy.
