What causes malabsorption?




Malabsorption occurs when the body is unable to absorb nutrients from the diet. There is a variety of malabsorption disorders that have different causes, including lactose intolerance. Symptoms might include bloating, diarrhea, and fatigue. Treatment is essential and depends on what is causing the malabsorption.
